Shells, Spirals, Cones, and Swirls

These shapes you see are made using digital photography and what is known as 'fractals". It's using math to make shapes that occur naturally in nature. You can take a photo of a plain object and turn it into something like this, I guess you have to have the software to do this. It's incredible!
