April 24, Friday, 2009- Today was beautiful! Highs in the upper 60s nearly 70 degrees, wall to wall sunshine and birds and flowers everywhere! Ahh it was soo nice! My daffodils are blooming! I took a few closeup shots of them. Tried to get some of the birds coming to the feeder
but I think I'll try tomorrow. They were just so fast and I didn't quite have the patience! At the
neighbors pond I saw a kingfisher, a male Mallard duck, two Canadian geese and near the cattails, red-winged blackbirds! I will have to make a movie of that scene! Describing it is one
thing but being able to show it to everybody is another! I will see if my neighbors wouldn't mind
me getting a little closer to the pond. I hope I don't scare the birds off! Tonight, the spring peepers are singing their heads off! lol Tomorrow (Saturday) is supposed to be even warmer!

I love animals, all God's creatures and I can't stand people that abuse them! I strongly urge anyone that wants a pet to adopt from your local animal shelter.
