Today has been mostly overcast. The last few days have been very blustery! Very high winds and rain. A few days ago David and I took a walk and were astonished to see that the trees look like they are starting to turn colors ALREADY! And August isn't even over with! Especially on the mountains, you can faintly see some subtle color changes!! Which begs the question: Are we in for a historically early fall? A contact of mine on Flickr that lives in Australia said that their willow trees are already starting to leaf out, one month early!! Australia is having THEIR SPRING EARLY, wonder if our fall will be early? And what will the winter ahead be like?? I wonder if it will be shorter?? More snow, but earlier and over earlier?? David and I have been discussing this and it makes me think that since it's the tilt of the earth that changes the seasons...perhaps that "tilting" is happening at a more rapid pace? And if this is true, why? What could be causing it? This, I don't think has anything to do with global warming, but more with the rotation and tilt of the earth. I wonder if any scientists have mentioned anything about this. I will have to look it up and see! Seems like as David and I get older, we do THINK more about things that most people don't when they are very busy. Thoughts that perhaps, scientists think about!
It will be interesting to see if anybody else mentions noticing this!
My daily life (when I have time to post) of living in Northwestern Massachusetts in the Berkshire mountains. My photos of the area and when possible, photos of wildlife and my tiny garden which I'm trying to attract wildlife with. Also my beliefs in the environment and protecting it as well as astronomy and space travel.

About Me
- anslatadams
- I can be very social, but then a recluse. I like my privacy when I'm working in my flower garden. I like to meditate there with God and the birds and the flowers. I love animals, all God's creatures and I can't stand people that abuse them! I strongly urge anyone that wants a pet to adopt from your local animal shelter. There are many loving animals that are at shelters waiting for a loving home. You can find me most of the time on Flickr where I have a photostream!
